
Creeks, Ponds and Wetlands of Forest Lawn

| $15.00Join naturalist, Paul Fehringer, for a casual walk along Scajaquada Creek with visits to the ponds in Forest Lawn. We will see what nature abounds along the waterway as we discuss the history of the creek and its importance to all the nature along its banks. We’ll end our walk at the wetland area at the north end of the cemetery.

Address: Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1990 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14208
Tickets: There is no need to print your e-tickets; attendees will be checked in by name.
Check-in: Check-in takes place at Forest Lawn’s historic Chapel in the heart of the cemetery. Enter the cemetery at any gate and follow the white painted line on the road to the Chapel.
Parking: There is plenty of parking at the Chapel/check-in location.
For Your Comfort: This walk will be approximately 1.5 miles; we strongly encourage attendees to wear suitable outerwear/footwear as the route may include some wet/muddy and uneven terrain.
Refunds and exchanges: Ticket sales are final. No exchanges or refunds unless the walk is canceled.
Inclement Weather Policy: If severe weather is forecasted, we will monitor the conditions for the best chance of proceeding with the walk. Cancellations will be announced via email; make sure to check your spam folders.
