
Forest Lawn’s Wild Winter – Nature Walk

| $20.00Join naturalist, Mary Jo Graham of Oakmoss Education, for a casual walk through Forest Lawn to discover some of the cemetery’s seasonal changes; we will explore how the natural world persists through Winter – plants and animals both. Learn how urban green spaces, such as Forest Lawn, provide conditions that make Winter survival a bit easier for our wild neighbors. Binoculars and field guides are encouraged!

Tickets: We do not issue physical or e-tickets; attendees will be checked in by name of ticket purchaser.
Check-in: Check-in takes place at Forest Lawn’s historic Chapel in the heart of the cemetery. Enter the cemetery at any gate and follow the white painted line on the road to the Chapel.
Parking: There is plenty of parking at the Chapel/check-in location.
For Your Comfort: This walk will be approximately 1.5 miles; we strongly encourage attendees to wear suitable outerwear/footwear as the route may include some wet/muddy and uneven terrain.
Refunds and exchanges: Ticket sales are final. If severe weather is forecasted, we will monitor the conditions for the best chance of proceeding with the walk. No exchanges or refunds unless the walk is canceled.
