Join naturalist, Mary Jo Graham of Oakmoss Education, for a casual walk through Forest Lawn to discover those hardy species that tough out the extreme conditions of Winter. Learn how physical adaptations, behaviors and relationship changes among our overwintering birds help them make the best of what Nature dishes out during the colder months. We’ll also seek out a few of the very early returnees from warmer climes. This event will begin indoors with a short presentation, then reconvene outdoors for exploration of the grounds. Binoculars and field guides are encouraged!
