Leisure and Learning on the Lawn!
Forest Lawn was founded as part of the Rural Cemetery Movement, in which landscaped, park-like cemeteries were intended to be used for recreational and social activities by the communities they served.
In that spirit, Forest Lawn continues to curate and host special events throughout the year that invite the community into the cemetery for unique educational experiences, entertainment, and commemorations.
